Serviceplan Group France, a member of Europe's leading independent communications group of the same name, inaugurates its new premises in the heart of the Delage Village in Courbevoie this Thursday, October 11, 2018. The communications agency, which brings together 250 employees across its various entities* under one roof, recently established its French headquarters on one of the plots of land of the former Delage factories, a French industrial heritage site.

From a past in aviation... to a future in innovation.

The Cristallin building, now occupied by Serviceplan Group France, has had several lives. Erected on the former site where Constellation aircraft engines were built for Air France (1949), the building was rebuilt to its current architecture in the 2000s, then occupied for some fifteen years by a Dassault subsidiary, before Serviceplan chose to move in. After nine months of major renovation work, the agency has retained the industrial soul and innovative spirit of the site's past, to become this company dedicated to the communication and creative professions.

A harmony of wood, metal and glass.

The three-storey, 5,500 m2 structure unfolds symmetrically around a central double staircase. Although the architecture was conceived with a highly graphic logic, its geometry is softened by the curves of its installations (railings, staircases, reception desk, etc.), as well as by the choice of materials. Wood often mingles with metal, and in a space designed to welcome light, glass and cement coexist harmoniously. Bay windows cover the entire facade, as well as the interior walls, culminating in the glass dome, a veritable window to the sky.

A sustainable and responsible building, pioneering a future eco-neighborhood.

The interior decor was carefully sourced with ethical, sustainable and responsible criteria in mind. Parquet flooring, blinds and screens, lighting fixtures, seating and desks are all made from dedicated wood from sustainably managed forests. All earthenware and painted cement tiles are unique, handmade in the traditional way using natural pigments. A large number of equipment items are recycled, such as closet door handles and lighting fixtures made from scrap wood or plumbing. What's more, the site is now "low-energy", equipped exclusively with automatic LEDs, and very well insulated.
