STAR unveils its 2021 network with Plan.Net France

STAR, the Rennes Conurbation Public Transport Authority, will be inaugurating the city's second metro line in 2021, and today launched the www.star2021.fr website, presenting the network's upcoming developments. Developed by Plan.Net France.
To help residents of the Rennes metropolitan area find out more about the possibilities of their future transport network, the Service des Transports en Commun de l'Agglomération Rennaise (STAR) is providing the following website www.star2021.fr : a complete guide to the changes that will take place on the network when Line B of the Rennes metro opens in spring 2021.
Developed by the teams at the Rennes agency of Plan.Net France, a long-standing partner of STAR and the Keolis group, the site offers a wealth of information on the network's development, including behind-the-scenes details, testimonials, a route simulator and comparative maps of the city's current and future networks. It also allows passengers to react and interact with the STAR network teams.
Designed in collaboration with Here We Are for graphics and tree structure, and with Latitude-Cartagène Cartographies, Kisio Digital (Data) and Smart-Tribune (community platform), the site was launched on November 19, after just over six months of design and development.
he challenge of this project was remote design. Numerous exchanges and workshops took place during the periods of confinement linked to Covid-19, and coordinating five separate players in these circumstances - the agencies, but also the client and the Rennes Métropole teams - was a challenge for us. But the result is there!
Developed on the basis of TYPO3 version 10 CMS and hosted by BLUE, this new site meets the challenges of both technical optimization and information accessibility for the most vulnerable.
