The Vergers Écoresponsables label is awarded to French producers of apples, pears, peaches, apricots and nectarines.
This label is based on production specifications controlled by an independent organization. Nearly one in two French people can use this label to promote their French origin and agro-ecological production methods.
For the past 8 years, the label has been the subject of TV and online campaigns. The January-March 2023 wave will deliver over 160 million contacts to a broad target audience aged 15 and over.
It concerns the most widely consumed fruit in France: the apple. On average, 1 million tonnes of apples are produced in France every year.
70% of these apples have the Vergers Écoresponsables label.
