PREFA has been an innovative partner for "The roof, strong as a bull" for over 75 years and is launching a product innovation on the market: the first roof system that combines the strength of the PREFA roof with the technology of a photovoltaic system. How do we manage to attract the national attention of the Austrians and also stage the advantage of this world first in the media?

Solution

Austrian product innovation meets Austrian media innovation

We use a media innovation to demonstrate not only the power of the sun, but also the innovative strength of PREFA itself: The PREFA Solarboards. We equip advertising spaces in OOH & ambient areas with solar panels that produce environmentally friendly solar energy from the sun's rays, even on cloudy days. The energy is stored in our own power storage unit, which continuously illuminates our message with energy-efficient LED lamps in the morning and evening hours.
