Mediaplus crowned agency of the year
The 19th edition of this year's Media Awards was once again held at the Leopold Museum on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. The winners and best media campaigns in four categories were chosen from a total of 59 submissions. Mediaplus Austria is once again awarded Agency of the Year!
With 12 shortlist placements and 5 awards, Mediaplus Austria secures the title for Austrian media excellence for the second time. Including 3x gold in the categories "Excellent Media Strategy", "Excellent Brand Content Integration" and "Excellent Media Innovation" and 2x bronze in the categories "Excellent Brand Content Integration" and "Excellent Media Innovation".

"To make Hornbach the talk of the town once again, we are making the letters of the Hornbach logo disappear overnight, transforming Hornbach's rooftops into unprecedented ambient media advertising space. Through the cross-media appeal to provide pertinent information, we have secured the attention and curiosity of our target group. With the resolution of the campaign, which consists of "found footage", we proved in a humorous way that even the Hornbach letters can be used for creative DIY projects. A successful stunt to further strengthen Hornbach as a cult brand in the eyes of Austrians."
