02.01.2025

After five years of successful transformation into one of the leading international providers of consulting, experience and technology services, Wolf Ingomar Faecks will leave the Plan.Net Group and thus the Serviceplan Group at the end of January 2025.

Munich, 02. January 2025 – Under the leadership of Wolf Ingomar Faecks, who will take up his position as global CEO of the Plan.Net Group and member of the Serviceplan Group Executive Board in February 2020, Plan.Net has developed into the top player in terms of revenue and is now the leader in the BVDW internet agency ranking. Since Faecks took over at the beginning of 2020, fee income has increased by 137 per cent to around €240 million.

In addition to building the BMW agency model 'The Marcom Engine', Faecks drove the international growth of Plan.Net and established and expanded the group's near and offshore locations under the umbrella of Plan.Net TechNest. In addition, as CEO of the Plan.Net Group, Faecks played a key role in the development of the consulting business under the 'Future Marketing' brand, the expansion of technology offerings and partnerships, and most recently the development of the AI and sustainability initiatives. With his proven expertise, Faecks will continue to support the Serviceplan Group in an advisory capacity.

"Under Ingo's leadership, the Plan.Net Group has been successfully transformed both in its domestic market and internationally. He has succeeded in establishing Plan.Net as a strategically relevant player in the field of consulting, experience and technology services, thus ensuring its future viability. For this he has my deepest gratitude. Personally, I value Ingo as an innovator, critical observer and inspiring colleague. I wish him all the best for the future and look forward to continuing to benefit from his expertise," says Florian Haller, CEO of Serviceplan Group.

There will be no direct successor in the role of CEO of Plan.Net Group. The already established Plan.Net Board – consisting of Sebastian Küpers (Chief Transformation Officer), Gerd Güldenast (Chief Technology Officer), Jens-Christian Jensen (Chief Strategy Officer) and Ingo Stein (Chief Financial Officer) – will report directly to Florian Haller.

Wolf Ingomar Faecks: "I would like to thank Florian Haller and the entire management team of the Serviceplan Group for the trusting cooperation and extensive opportunities to shape the Group's future strategy in my role as CEO of the Plan.Net Group and as a member of the Serviceplan Group Board. It has been an incredibly exciting and challenging time for all of us, mobilising the Group's full integration capabilities to build 'The Marcom Engine' and transform the Plan.Net Group into a leading international partner for consulting, experience and technology services. I would like to thank all those who have worked with me and wish them every success in the further development of the group. In the future, I will devote myself even more to projects that are close to my heart and through which I can pass on my experience."

Prior to joining the Serviceplan Group, the graduate industrial engineer from the Technical University of Berlin held various positions at Publicis Sapient since 2005, most recently as SVP and Industry Lead for Automotive and Health as well as Managing Director DACH. Prior to that, he was a member of the management team at Capgemini, where he was responsible for the Telco & Media business from 1998.

Faecks is well known in the marketing industry as the face of the GWA, which he chaired for four years until 2017. He then continued his industry involvement as a member of the main board of the digital association BITKOM and as a member of the advisory board of the VWI, where he remains to this day.

After leaving Plan.Net, Faecks will increasingly share his expertise as an investor and in governance and advisory roles.
