Kikkoman is adding spice to the House of Communication Zurich.

Mediaplus Group has won the account for the Japanese brand Kikkoman. Since April, the group has been managing the world market leader for Japanese soy sauces in nine European countries: France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Austria and, here in Switzerland, through Mediaplus Suisse in the House of Communication Zurich.

More flavour for more impact: Kikkoman, the world market leader in soy sauces, marinades, rice vinegars and more, brings the Kikk to authentic Asian cuisine. Now the Mediaplus Group has won this attractive new customer and since April the complete media strategy, planning, buying and distribution of the European brand campaign via TV has been in the hands of the Mediaplus Group. The campaigns are managed centrally from the Munich House of Communication in close coordination with local experts, including the Mediaplus Suisse team at the House of Communication Zurich.

The TV budget for the nine European markets is in the mid-seven-figure range. The first joint campaign will start this winter. The aim is to increase brand awareness and campaign efficiency in order to boost visibility and sales in the European market. The brand strategy of positioning Kikkoman soy sauce as THE condiment in every kitchen will be at the forefront of future TV campaigns.
