Met haar passie voor creativiteit en innovatie is ze klaar om Serviceplan Amsterdam naar nieuwe hoogten te brengen. We spraken met haar over haar missie, visie en plannen voor de toekomst.
Annabelle, what does this new role mean to you and why is this the time for Serviceplan Amsterdam to show itself?
"For me, this role feels like a great opportunity to make a real impact. In recent years, we have worked hard to lay a solid foundation in the Netherlands. With a fantastic team and great customers, we are now ready to go public as Serviceplan Amsterdam. Amsterdam is brimming with creativity and innovation—it's the place where I can fully unleash my passion for customization and collaboration."
Can you tell us a bit more about the 'Übercreativity' approach and what makes it so special?
"Absolutely! ' 'Übercreativity' is a way for us to show how we work together. It goes beyond just being very creative. We really want to push boundaries by bringing together strategy, creation, PR, media, data and technology. By combining different talents and backgrounds, the most surprising and effective campaigns are created. It's that synergy that makes it so exciting."
What do you like most about the 'House of Communication' approach and what does this mean for our customers?
"What I love about our 'House of Communication' is that we have everything under one roof. This means that we can switch quickly and really act as one team. For the customer, this means that they are not sent from pillar to post, but that there is an integrated approach that optimizes their entire journey. Moreover, thanks to our international network, we can also bring insights and expertise from other markets. It feels like a big family in which everyone contributes to the joint success."
Are there certain projects or sectors that you are particularly looking forward to?
"To be honest, I'm especially looking forward to projects where we can really make a difference, regardless of the sector. Whether it's a local family business or an international player, as long as there is a shared passion for innovation and creativity. I'm looking forward to working with clients who are as driven as we are to create something unique."
What would you like to achieve as Managing Director of Serviceplan Amsterdam?
"I want to create an environment in which both our team and our customers can grow and thrive. I think it would be great if Serviceplan Amsterdam becomes known as a place where creative talent feels at home and where we realize groundbreaking campaigns together with our clients. With my experience, I hope to build bridges between people and ideas, building long-term relationships based on trust and mutual appreciation. I hope that in a few years we will look back and see how much we have achieved together."
Where do you see yourself and Serviceplan Amsterdam in five years' time?
"In five years' time, I hope that we will be an established name in the Dutch advertising world. An agency known for its innovative and human approach. Personally, I hope that I still enjoy going to work every day, surrounded by inspiring colleagues and customers. And of course that I then enjoy my family at home, which by then has expanded with the arrival of our second child."
What drives you in your work and what is your personal challenge in this new role?
"It's the people and the stories that drive me. I get a lot of energy from working with different people and seeing ideas grow into something tangible. My personal challenge is to create an environment where everyone feels heard and valued. Where we are not afraid to try new things and where we celebrate successes together. I believe that if you invest in people, the rest will follow."
