Total Media Group Rebrands to Mediaplus UK

25.02.2025

London, 25 February 2025 — Total Media Group, the behavioural planning media agency, has rebranded to Mediaplus UK, aligning fully with the Mediaplus Group which acquired Total Media Group in 2024. This also marks its integration into the larger Serviceplan Group.

This rebrand follows years of successful collaboration under the joint venture Total Mediaplus and comes a year into the new partnership between the two. It reflects an ambitious new vision to integrate Total Media Group’s behavioural expertise with Mediaplus’ global capabilities, delivering a modern, client-focused approach to media and communications.

“We are thrilled to announce the rebrand to Mediaplus UK, which represents the culmination of our long-standing partnership with Mediaplus,” said Tom Laranjo, Group CEO Mediaplus UK. “This step not only reflects our growth but also aligns us with Mediaplus’ global vision, giving our clients access to an unparalleled breadth of expertise and innovation. Mediaplus UK will continue to focus on delivering behavioural insights while leveraging the resources of Europe’s largest independent media agency group.”

“This rebrand marks an exciting new chapter for Mediaplus UK and underlines the importance of the UK market to the entire Mediaplus Group,” said Matthias Brüll, Global CEO of Mediaplus Group. “The alignment of our global media expertise with Total Media’s behavioural insights will drive innovation and success for our clients in both regional and global markets.”

A Vision for the Future

This rebrand solidifies Mediaplus UK’s position within the Serviceplan Group. One of the largest independent agency groups in the world, with a strong presence in Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East.

It also aligns with the Group’s vision of an integrated approach, reflected in the House of Communication model. This model brings together expertise across creative and content (Serviceplan), media and data (Mediaplus), and consulting, experience, and technology services (Plan.Net)—all under one roof. Already established in 11 markets, the launch of Mediaplus UK is a step towards introducing the House of Communication concept to the UK.

“The UK is a key market for us, and this rebrand is a significant milestone in our expansion. It establishes a strong foundation for introducing the full House of Communication in the UK, uniting our expertise in media, creative, and digital experience. This step reflects our long-term commitment to building an integrated, future-ready agency structure in this strategic market,” added Florian Haller, CEO of Serviceplan Group.

Maintaining Culture and Client Commitment

While the rebrand signals growth and global integration, Mediaplus UK remains deeply committed to preserving its distinct culture and values. Stakeholders can expect:

  • Uninterrupted service and support, with no disruption to existing processes.
  • Retention of the agency’s core identity, work ethic, and client-first approach.
  • Enhanced opportunities for collaboration and access to innovative, integrated solutions.

Strengthening a Legacy

Reflecting on the journey so far, Celine Saturnino, CEO Mediaplus UK (London), added:
“After more than 40 years of independence, Total Media’s evolution into Mediaplus UK represents a natural next step in our growth. Our partnership with Mediaplus has been a resounding success over the years, and this rebrand will bring exciting opportunities for our teams, clients, and partners alike. We are proud to integrate into the Serviceplan Group while maintaining the principles and culture that have defined us.”
