The role:

We are seeking a Media Account Executive to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. If you have a year or two experience but are feeling frustrated at the lack of opportunity to develop, then we’d like to hear from you. If you’re industrious, curious, adaptable, well-organised, numerically adept, and hold GCSE English and Maths at level 5 or above, you could be the perfect fit.

This role is pivotal to our agency success, offering the chance to contribute to our growth in the years ahead. We plan and buy media for a diverse range of clients across industries such as Book Publishing, Education, and FMCG.

Key responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management.
  • Briefing and Strategy.
  • Planning and buying advertising campaigns across Broadcast, Radio, and Outdoor media.
  • Negotiating with media owners to secure optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Actively managing campaigns to ensure the best performance and results.
  • Conducting detailed analysis of campaign performance, requiring strong numerical skills.
  • Representing Mediaplus Connect at Media Owner meetings and events.
  • Coordinating with creative and PR agencies.
  • Administrative tasks.
  • Pursuing relevant industry-recognised qualifications.
  • Actively contributing to and participating in the culture of the Media team, where you’ll play a pivotal role.
