Plan.Net Connect, that specialises in E-CRM and personalisation, came out on top with its pitch against four competitors and continues to be responsible for the creation, extensive personalisation and global distribution of the newsletter for the German company Lufthansa AG in over 100 countries. This partnership has been in place since 2012.
Munich, 22 August 2019 – Good News for the Plan.Net Group: The German company Lufthansa AG will continue to rely on the expertise of Plan.Net Connect for the next three years. The account, with a total value in the high seven-figure range, involves the creative implementation as well as editorial content creation, extensive personalisation and the production of more than 500 million personalised Lufthansa newsletters each year. These newsletters are sent to customers in the B2C and B2B segment in over 100 countries across the globe. To do this, Plan.Net Connect coordinates five areas in Germany, Austria/Switzerland, the rest of the EMEA region, and the Americas and Asia/Pacific regions. As a result, significant increases in sales and an improvement in other KPIs at Lufthansa have already been achieved in the past.
In their pitch, Plan.Net Connect impressed with the combination of many years of experience and concrete ideas of how the newsletter process should look in future at Lufthansa. The focus for this is on a future-oriented strategy with the two core elements of automation and personalisation in the E-Dialogue, which Plan.Net Connect has developed. Specifically, concepts were developed to increase the degree of personalisation, implement effective storytelling across various channels and devices, taking into account the reduced attention span in today's digital world, and streamline transnational automation and workflow management processes.
“Plan.Net Connect has been our partner for many years, and they understand exactly what requirements we have for our global newslettering”, says Helen Schmidt Stetter, Head of Content and Dialogue Marketing at Lufthansa. “This fact, together with skills in the areas of personalisation, future-oriented technology, and creative and editorial implementation, has ultimately made the decision for us.”
“We are very happy that we were once again able to convince Lufthansa”, says Alexander Emmendörfer, Managing Partner at Plan.Net Connect. “Personalisation is the key to even greater relevance in digital communication. Our aim is to be able to reach all Lufthansa customers across the globe with personalised offers at the right time and on the right devices, and to further boost our leading position in this area.”
