Plan.Net Secures Top Position in Internet Agency Ranking

27.05.2024

The Plan.Net Group has defended its leading position and tops the Internet agency ranking by BVDW (German Association for the Digital Economy) for the second time in a row. With a fee revenue of around € 240 m. the Plan.Net Group has reported an increase of more than 13% compared to the previous year.

Munich, 27 May 2024 In addition to first place in the overall ranking, the Plan.Net Group, with its subsidiary and e-commerce specialist hmmh, also retains its top position in the e-commerce sub-ranking. Furthermore, Plan.Net climbed from fourth place last year to second place in the sub-ranking for "Digital Transformation and Strategy". Here, increased consulting revenues of Future Marketing Consulting, Serviceplan Group’s  consulting service, rooted within Plan.Net, are particularly noteworthy.

"That we are leading the overall ranking again and have performed so strongly in two strategically important sub-rankings fills me with immense pride for our teams and serves as a clear indicator of our growth ambitions – also on an international level. The result is due to growth in our three core areas. This includes, on one hand, the significant expansion of our consulting mandates in transition and data strategy consulting. On the other hand, we have driven growth in the technology areas of commerce and Mar-Tech, as well as the development of our innovative business fields such as spatial computing, artificial intelligence, and sustainability. All of this supports Plan.Net's promise to further personalize and optimize customer experience through the use of technology," comments Wolf Ingomar Faecks, CEO Plan.Net Group.

For further growth, technology partnerships with providers such as Tealium, SAP, Adobe, Salesforce, or Microsoft play a central role. In addition, Plan.Net is focusing on expanding AI capabilities both in advising clients on their potential applications and in terms of optimizing its own internal processes. Across the group, various pilot projects are already in use: After the experimentation phase, the focus is now on implementing concrete AI use cases in day-to-day business.

In addition to other strategic growth initiatives, the Plan.Net Group continues its international efforts by expanding the Plan.Net TechNest teams in Romania, Poland, and India. The group also intends to establish additional locations in the future.
