"The future is yours to create" – the biggest meeting in the world for trend and future researchers as well as innovation experts will take place this year under this motto for the first time in the world's most happening city from 22nd to 23rd October 2018. There have been over 1000 participants and members at LaFutura since 2007. As an association, LaFutura represents the global trend and future scenes with the top trend agencies, innovation consultants as well as corporate innovation and foresight experts. The TrendOne agency from Hamburg is the initiator of LaFutura; Serviceplan Group China is the local partner at the conference.
Munich / Shanghai, 14 June 2018 — This year, the future is in Shanghai: TrendOne, PDMA.org and Serviceplan Group China are hosting the LaFutura conference in the Chinese metropolis for the first time, which will take place from 22nd to 23rd October 2018. With many global and local events, LaFutura is the central intelligence network to bridge the gap between trends, innovation and tomorrow's opportunities. LaFutura Shanghai connects experts from all industries to the finest business trend network. Futurists from all over the world and participants from local, regional and international companies will attend at the future conference in Shanghai.

Serviceplan now has 130 employees across its two locations in Beijing and Shanghai and, in addition to Hipp, BMW and Metro, also supports local customers such as Tencent Now and Sport, Kerchins as well as Erdos.
The locations are headed by Marcus Ma, Managing Director for Beijing, Chong Kin, CCO China, and Bernard Wong, Managing Director for Shanghai.
The conference will be opened in the M50 Creative Park with a presentation on trends in Asia. The Retail Experience Tour will follow in the afternoon, including stops at the Gentle Monster Store as well as the DuPont Innovation Center.
The next day starts with an impulse lecture on creative leadership by Christian Kuhna, Director of Innovation and Head of APAC Artgym, in the PWC Innovation Center, followed by a presentation by the Chief Creative Officer of Serviceplan from China: Chong Kin. As with each iteration of LaFutura, the afternoon involves workshops covering topics such as the future of mobility, banking, energy and communication.
